Jai Sri Radhe Govind!!

May the Holy names of Krsna and Radharani purify this sacred space. May Krsna be constantly seated in my intelligence and senses, so that I write everything which pleases Him.

I have not yet taken diskha from a guru, since I’m incapable of recognizing a pure devotee simply through my  materially contaminated intelligence. But what I can definitely do is to keep chanting my Lord’s name with faith, reverence and surrender. I’m lacking in so many ways and I constantly find myself getting lost in the grip of Māyā. Yet, I have to keep trying with all sincerity, and whenever Krsna thinks that I’m ready to be an earnest, humble disciple, He will bless me with His mercy of a qualified Guru.

By no means, I take the relationship between a guru and a disciple lightly, especially in Bhakti-yog, since the guru’s genuine authority gives knowledge and realization of the Bhagvad-tattva, and also the deep, sweet rasa hidden in between the lines of all the Bhakti scriptures.

It is impossible to interpret the secrecy, the complete explication of the poetic Bhakti verses out in the open, through our intellectual capacity which is dipped in three gunas. Only a bonafide guru can give us that hidden knowledge and pure bhakti, when we surrender and serve at his holy feet.

The guru is sent by the mercy of Krsna, to allow us to serve Him better. Our anarthas dissolve and we start moving out of our material entrapments. Probably, that’s why I’m not rushing into the process of finding a guru on my own, for I’m foolish and unintelligent in many ways. May Krsna have His mercy on me soon.

What do I intend to do through this website? I wish to dedicate this entire space bringing out the beauty of our Santana Dharma by diving deeper into Bhakti-yog (Raganuga bhakti) and letting everything filter through that lens. Whether it’s discussions about our Holy Bhakti scriptures, or sneak peek into Ayurveda, hatha-yoga, marma therapy, traditional Indian art and culture, etc- I would make everything sieve through my devotion for Krsna.

We all share an eternal, intimate relationship with Him. Different devotees are situated in different bhavas; so my attempt is to honor everyone, and write articles or create art from the position of a humble seeker of Krsna’s sweet nectar of love.

I’m on a constant journey to my Lord and many times I stumble and fall, and often my perception through the covering of prakriti changes and shifts, but the imperishable, indestructible truth about our connection to Krsna is constant.

“Isvarah paramah krsnah, sac-cid-ananda-vigrahah, anadir adir govindah, sarva-karana-karanam” – Brahma Samhita 5.1

Kṛṣṇa who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Being. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes.

May I continue to learn and share everything I assimilate within my heart on this Bhakti-mārga.
